AI-driven learning support platform Studiosity has announced a multi-year partnership with Universities UK (UUK), the representative body for 141 universities across the country. The collaboration aims to enhance access to ethical and scalable academic support for students, offering institutions an opportunity to trial Studiosity’s AI-powered formative feedback services.

Under the agreement, Universities UK members will have access to a pro bono trial of Studiosity’s services for up to 2,000 students. Institutions that choose to continue with the service will also benefit from a discounted member price starting in the next academic year. The partnership marks an expansion of Studiosity’s role within UK higher education, building on its existing relationship with UUK since 2017.

    Ethical AI in Higher Education

Studiosity is positioning itself as a global leader in AI-driven learning support, currently working with over 250 institutions worldwide. The platform focuses on providing formative feedback at scale, helping universities maintain academic integrity while offering students timely and constructive guidance on their work.

Isabelle Bambury, Managing Director for Studiosity in the UK and Europe, described the partnership as a significant step towards strengthening student success amid financial pressures.

“Over the last eight years, we have seen the impact of bringing our university partners to UUK events, where they have shared case studies on improving student outcomes. This closer strategic partnership allows us to work even more closely with university leaders to scale success in a strategic and evidence-based way,” she said.

Bambury also highlighted the financial challenges facing the sector, stating that institutions need to ensure their investments lead to tangible improvements in student experience.

A Shared Commitment to Student Success

Universities UK Chief Executive Vivienne Stern MBE welcomed the expanded partnership, citing Studiosity’s alignment with UUK’s broader mission of ensuring access and opportunity in higher education.

“Universities UK has been proud to have Studiosity as a supporter for the last eight years, and we are pleased to expand our relationship through this partnership. Studiosity’s mission to create inclusive learning environments aligns with our own strategic ambition to ensure opportunity for all,” Stern said.

The partnership will also facilitate increased engagement between Studiosity and UUK members through events, blogs, webinars, and other thought leadership activities.

    University Leaders Voice Support

Professor Jane Harrington, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Greenwich, previously emphasised the need for high-quality student support in an increasingly challenging financial environment.

“I am looking for something that offers a quality solution… As we face a more difficult financial landscape, I am focused on ensuring our students have the best possible experience. What we cannot afford to do is lose the progress we have made in improving access and outcomes,” she said.

The partnership between Studiosity and Universities UK comes amid growing debates over the role of AI in education, particularly in supporting academic integrity and student success. By providing ethical AI-driven feedback, Studiosity aims to offer a solution that is both scalable and aligned with the core values of UK higher education.
