Tüyap brings the 35th Plast Eurasia to Istanbul this December. Plastics machinery, manufacturing technologies and raw materials share a single venue, and ahead of opening day organisers are stepping up their outreach to trade visitors in leading European markets.
İstanbul – Set for 2-5 December 2026 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, Plast Eurasia is run by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. alongside PAGEV, with the backing of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade. The fair draws technology providers, manufacturers, distributors, raw material producers and purchasing specialists, who build commercial ties spanning the entire plastics sector.
“For 35 years, Plast Eurasia supports the growth and development of the industry by bringing companies and professionals together and helping turn those connections into commercial relationships,” according to İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc. “This year, we want to carry that experience forward by creating focused opportunities for buyers, suppliers and technology companies to meet around the needs of today’s plastics industry.”
European visitor push gathers pace
With roughly 3 months to go before opening day, exhibitors have already booked 90% of the exhibition space. Organisers anticipate 80,000 visitors in all, from Türkiye and overseas, and their trade visitor campaign concentrates on Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Belgium, Greece and Romania, as well as markets in North Africa and the Middle East.
European industry professionals will encounter machinery suppliers, materials firms and other plastics companies gathered under one roof in Istanbul this December. The international visitor programme seeks fresh commercial contacts while also serving to strengthen the business ties companies have built up already.
Machinery, materials and manufacturing technology top the bill
The exhibition rests on two main segments: raw materials and chemicals, plus plastic production machinery. New-generation manufacturing technologies and machinery solutions appear too, with efficiency, innovation and value-added production among the themes driving the business agenda.
The way the product scope is laid out lets technical staff and buyers review machines, materials and manufacturing methods in one visit, while exhibitors can present fresh products, technologies and sector solutions to an international audience of buyers.
Thirty-five years of industry change mapped for the anniversary
The 35th-anniversary programme includes a Milestones Map, whose timeline presentation traces the fair’s main stages next to the way the plastics industry evolved. A display of vintage plastics production machinery will additionally show how manufacturing technology has changed across the decades.
At the opening ceremony, Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastik Teknolojileri and Almak Ateş Makine will receive plaques recognising the enduring loyalty of three firms present through every year of the fair’s 35-year journey.
The Stage is Yours! programme gives exhibitors 30-minute speaking slots for putting success stories, value-added products, technologies and industry solutions in front of visiting professionals.
Guided access awaits hosted buyers
The Hosted Buyer Guided Tour programme exists so that international purchasing delegations can reach the exhibitors and product groups they need without wasted time. Participating buyers receive planned routes, tours of demonstration and event zones, access to the Hosted Buyer Lounge and dedicated support services.
Turkish Airlines, the Official Airline of Plast Eurasia, is cutting fares on qualifying international return journeys to Istanbul flown from 25 November to 12 December 2026, with Economy Class reduced by 10% and Business Class by 15%.
